Seafarer's Ministry-Ongoing

One of the purposes of this ministry is to provide hats for the seamen who spend many hours on cold ships crisscrossing the oceans. Walnut Grove supports the Seafarer’s Ministry and is looking for individuals and churches to donate ball caps (new or used), knit hats, or yarn with which to make knit hats, crocheted hats, as well as fleece hats. Donations can be dropped off at the association office. They will be delivered to Charleston and/or Cape Canaveral for ministry purposes. This will be an ongoing ministry.
