February 3, 2008, The McCormick First Baptist members and friends honored Reverend Dennis and Helen Lynn for “a decade of dedication and faithful service.”  Dennis and Helen’s commitment to the Lord has been true testimonies to this congregation and community that God prepared them as spiritual leaders for this time and this place. A couple who teaches the word of God, in spirit and in truth, goes that extra mile, no matter the hour, no matter the need. They have shared times of happiness, stood strong in times of tragedy and given comfort in times of sorrow. Not only are they shepherds, they are friends of the congregation and community.   Thank you, Dennis and Helen, for your ministry, your guidance and your care. Our prayer is that God will continue to bestow His greatest blessings for your life!

 In recognition and appreciation of their faithful service, McCormick First Baptist members and friends compiled a “book of memories” presented along with an all expenses paid trip to New York City, and an eight-day Caribbean cruise.
